Date: January 25th 2008
Greetings Fellow Federationists and Friends:
I am excited to inform you about the plans being made for the 2008 convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska.
This years convention will take place October 10, 11 and 12th at the Howard Johnson Riverside Inn & Conference Center in Grand Island Nebraska. With incredible room rates of a flat $56.00 per night for singles, doubles, triples or quads and 10% off any meals purchased in the Garden Café for all hotel guests, its an affordable investment to begin making plans for right now.
Each year the National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska holds its state convention with more than 100 Nebraskans from Omaha to Scottsbluff participating. Join us for the 2008 state Convention in Grand Island, Nebraska.
The National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska is a statewide organization composed primarily of blind Nebraskans. It is the state affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind, Inc., a 50,000 plus strong national-membership organization which holds nonprofit tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. It is not an organization speaking for the blind; it is the blind speaking for themselves.
Sincerely,
Amy R. Buresh, NFBN President
